We are a diverse group of people who are concerned about the issues of domestic violence in families and in all human relationships and the response of the Black Church. We believe in the Church's mission to improve the quality of life and recognize the linkages of violence to all social problems in the history of Black communities.

Therefore, we stand against violence in all its guises including physical, sexual, psychological, spiritual, emotional and economic abuse.
To that end, we develop partnerships and collaborations to provide educational, spiritual and technical support as well as advocacy and leadership development: to enhance the capacity of the church to empower and protect the victims of domestic violence; to hold abusers accountable; to promote healing and wholeness in African-American communities.
